Commuters have been hit by major rail disruption this evening after a person was hit by a train between Slough and London.
At 8pm, Great Western Railway tweeted to say all lines had been closed between the two destinations because of the incident.
Their post went on to say they expected delays until 9.30pm, before another update explained disruption could last until the end of the day.
A further post at 9.24pm revealed two of the four lines running between Reading and London Paddington had been re-opened.
The tweet read: "Two of the four lines have been reopened which will allow High Speed services to resume. Disruption is likely to continue for the rest of the evening to local stopping services between #LondonPaddington and #Reading."
And at 10.02pm the rail company posted: "Disruption is likely to continue this evening for local stopping services between #LondonPaddington and #Reading
