A NEW cheating map shows thousands of residents in Reading are having affairs.

The figures are from Illicitencounters.com, the UK’s leading affairs dating website, shows 2,022 people in the town are having an affair - up from 1,891 last year.

The rise was due to the end of pandemic restrictions and people unhappy with their partners during lockdown seeking affairs as the country returns to normal.

Jessica Leoni from IllicitEncounters.com, said: “Reading is Berkshire's adultery capital.

"However, in some Berkshire towns the figures have fallen such as Bracknell so the picture is varied across the month.

"Reaching has definitely picked up since the summer. Record numbers of people came back from their summer holidays miserable and looking for excitement after 18 months of being bored and stuck at home with their partners.
