Reading motorbike nuisance hotspots revealed as police clamp down

Reading Chronicle: Motorbike nuisance reports have been made from these roads

Police are still receiving reports of loud motorbike noises from around the Reading borough.

Since the launch of Reading Borough Council’s anti-social behaviour App Reportable in July 2021, local officers had received 38 reports of motorbike nuisance up to September 13.

A mum from Reading has accused the council of ‘sick games’ and slammed mouldy living conditions at her flat in Tilehurst.

Elaine Parry-Taylor has vented her fury at Reading Borough Council, accusing it of abandoning its duties and leaving her without hot water and heating in the flat which gets ‘freezing’ in winter.

Yannick Cupido murder trial

O'Neal Joseph, 28, of Amersham Road, Caversham is charged with the murder of Yannick Cupido.

The 24-year-old was fatally stabbed in Caversham on Valentines day last year.

All of the rivers in Berkshire where sewage has been dumped

LAST week Berkshire MPs voted on an amendment to a bill that would have placed a legal duty on water companies to reduce raw sewage discharges into rivers.

Four of Berkshire's Tory MPs voted against the plan, whereas Labour MP Matt Rodda and MP Tan Dhesi voted against the plans.
