A FOOD delivery driver has been caught 'hiding cannabis in a McDonald's takeaway bag'.
Police stopped the delivery rider in Reading on Wednesday, November 3, to check if they had insurance to cover deliveries.
A picture posted by police shows the moped pulled over with a Deliveroo bag attached.
The force said when checking to see if the driver was insured, they found five bags of cannabis in a customer's McDonald's order which they were on their way to deliver.

Police said: "Information will also be provided to their employer to make them aware of the clear food safety issues. As I’m fairly sure your burger and chips don’t come with a free bag or two of cannabis edibles!"
