Road works have popped up all over Reading in the past few weeks, with temporary traffic lights causing delays for drivers.
The travelling conditions became so bad that last month Reading council gave an ultimatum to the companies responsible for the ‘chaos’ on Oxford Road.
With another 47 roads to be closed this weekend for the Reading half marathon, we’ve rounded up all the temporary traffic lights to watch out for on your journeys.
- Oxford Road at Knowsley Road and Eaton Place due to telecoms work
- Dark Lane at Overdown Road due to telecoms work
- Norcot Road near Church End Lane due to telecoms work
- Corwen Road at Alford Close due to gas main work

- Halls Road at Burlington Road due to telecoms work M4 both ways between Junction three, A312(Hayes / Heston) and Junction 12, Bath Road (Theale): Narrow lanes and speed restriction of 60 mph due to major smart motorway upgrade works and conversion of the hard shoulder to an extra lane.
