A BOY has been charged with the murder of a 22-year-old in Tilehurst.
Reece Heffernan died after being stabbed in his chest on Sunday, October 31 in Romany Lane.
A 17-year-old boy from Earley will appear in Reading Magistrates' Court today (November 6) charged with one count of murder, one count of perverting the course of justice and one count of possession of the bladed article.
The boy was charged by police on Friday, November 5 and arrested the previous day.

Two men have already been charged as part of the murder investigation.
Hamzah Ahmed, 18, of Jubilee Road, Reading, was charged with one count of murder.
Umer Arshad, 23, of Waterloo Road, Wokingham, has been charged with one count of perverting the course of justice.
Ahmed and Arshad appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday and are due to appear at Reading Crown Court on Monday, November 8.
A 29-year-old man and two 19-year-old men, all from Reading, who were arrested on suspicion of murder have now been released under investigation.
Officers said: "Our thoughts remain with his family at this difficult time and we continue to support them. "
