POLICE were called to help a man who was 'injured by acid' in Reading.
Emergency services attended Edinburgh Road in West Reading on Sunday, November 7.
Thames Valley Police have confirmed that a man was injured by acid.
A spokesman said: "We did receive a report of an injury to a man involving acid. Officers worked with the ambulance service to ascertain the circumstances.
"It was established that the injury was an accident which involved the injured man and no one else and therefore no crime had been committed."
