Pictures show a sizeable police presence and an extensive cordon in a Reading road following the launch of a murder investigation.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a man in his seventies was found inside a property in Elgar Road.
At least eight officers have set up a scene watch, cordoning off dozens of houses and flats and waving through cars and pedestrians through.

Thames Valley Police were called to the property at just after 8.10pm on Wednesday, December 1.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
The 37-year-old is currently in police custody.
Police are also appealing for information from the night of the incident asking people to contact Thames Valley Police on 1010 quoting reference 1958 of December 1.
Anyone who was driving in the area is asked to check dash-cam footage.
