Reading College have revealed a new kit for their Esports team.
The Esports team, called Activate Pyramid Reading, has been set up to compete against other colleges in inter-collegiate Esports competitions from January 2022.
Other institutions, such as Banbury and Bicester College and Theale Green Secondary School, are set to join at a later date.
In order to take part, the team needed a kit.
The team secured sponsorship for the team kit from hardware, systems and gaming products retailer, Overclockers UK, who have paid for the full cost of the kit.
At the start of the academic year, all students who are currently studying Esports, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Level 3 Extended Diploma were asked to submit their opinions.
The new Diploma encourages learners to explore all areas of the industry including entrepreneurship, health, wellbeing and fitness for Esports players and events management.

The final design was formed from the students’ feedback and features a black background with a white and teal chevron design on the front with white shoulders and sleeves.
The back of the kit features a smaller white and teal chevron design.
A student of the new course, Mina, said: “It was really exciting to find out what the final design was, we didn’t know what it would look like until it arrived, and I really like the final design.
“The kit is really comfortable.
The fit is really nice, and I like how it looks.”
Esports teacher, Thomas Garner, agrees: “I really like the kit.
“It gives us an image and an identity as a team.
"It’s made the students feel more a part of Esports and boosted their morale as they feel comfortable and engaged with the kits on.”
