A woman is fighting for her life after being seriously injured in a collision between a lorry and a motorbike.
Thames Valley Police have described the victim's injuries as 'life threatening' after she was struck on King's Road in Reading on Monday afternoon at around 3pm.
The incident involved a white Yamaha motorcycle and a white Mercedes tipper lorry heading towards the town centre.
Police say a female motorcyclist has sustained ‘life-threatening injuries’ and was taken straight to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where she currently remains.
Investigating officer from the Roads Policing unit, Jennifer Lawrie, said: “Firstly, our thoughts are with the woman injured in this collision.
“We would like to speak with anyone who has information which could assist with us as we investigate the circumstances of this incident.
“If you have dash-cam and were in or around the area at the time, please take a look and share anything significant with police.

King's Road remained closed until the late hours of Tuesdat night but has since reopened.
