READING knows how to do Christmas properly and with all the doom and gloom of the new variant, it's nice to see the town looking so festive.

Houses across the country submitted pictures this year in a bid to be crowned Zoopla's most festive home.

The deadline for this was on Monday, December 13, where people showed off their spectacular Christmas decorations to Zoopla's competition.

Last year's competition winner was this home in Reading and we wanted to showcase Joanna's amazing efforts once more.

The homeowner also won a £500 voucher to spend ahead of the big day.

Daniel Copley, consumer spokesperson, at Zoopla, said: "Following the success of last year’s competition, we were excited to launch our Festive Homes competition for the second year in a row.

"It’s a brilliant chance for Zoopla to reward the effort people have gone to brighten up local areas."
