A WARGRAVE man has been banned from getting behind the wheel after he was caught drink driving just 300 metres from Reading Police Station.
Timothy Agnew, of Hamilton Road, was stopped on Bridge Street in Reading on May 26, 2021.
After taking a breath test, results revealed he had 97 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal drink-drive limit is 35mcg per 100ml, which means Agnew was nearly three times over the limit.
He was just 0.2 miles (or around 300 metres) from Reading Police Station on Castle Street when he was stopped.
At a court hearing earlier this month, the 33-year-old was handed a community order.

A requirement of this community order is to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.
He was also told to pay £695 in court fees and banned from driving for two years.
Agnew appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court -- which is also on Castle Street -- on December 13.
