Courtsey of Reading Chronicle Camera Club member, Tony McGinn, we have been spolit with a selection of glorious photographs of two iconic green spaces in Berkshire.
Prospect Park
Built in the 18th century, the Mansion House was the former residence of the Liebenrood family set in the 120 acre Prospect Park.
Sat in Tilehurst, the park holds football pitches, a minature railway and the Mansion House itself, a former family home that is now a Harvester restuarant.
Infamous in the local area for potentially being haunted, the park is a firm favourite with the local community.

Caversham Park
This historic stately home is Grade II listed and was built in 1850 after a fire in the orignal building.
During the Second World War the building was requisitioned by the British Ministry of Health but in 1943 it was taken over by the BBC as a recieving station.
This is what it remained as until 2018 when the BBC left after 75 years.
Visited by American Founding Fathers Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, the gardens have been captivating visitors since the 1700s.
