The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:
December 6
THOMAS DAVIS, 60, of St Michael’s Road, Newbury, admitting failing to participate in a breath test in Newbury on June 27, 2021. Banned from driving for 20 months. Community order made. Requirement to take part in up to 12 rehabilitation activity days. Fined £270 and made to pay £295 in court fees.
JONATHON WHITNALL, 46, of Whitley Wood Road, Reading, admitted breaching the requirements of a community order by failing to attend appointments twice in September 2021. Made to pay £60 in court costs.
December 8
ALEX REID, 56, of Stuart Road, Newbury, was convicted, of drink driving in Newbury on June 26, 2021. Caught with 67 micrograms of alcohol of 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Driving record endorsed with ten points. Fined £360 and made to pay £811 in court costs.
December 9
DONALD HOUGHTON, 51, of Bath Road, Reading, admitted criminal damage to property, namely a Vauxhall car, in Reading on March 18, 2019. Conditional discharge for 12 months. Must pay £192. In compensation, and ordered to pay court fees of £795.
December 13
NIGEL LEWIN, 49, of Berkeley Avenue, Reading, admitted assault in Reading on January 15, 2020. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £180 in court fees.
December 15
ANGELA STEVENS, 37, of Willow Street, Reading, admitted breaching the requirements of a community order by failing to attend appointments in January 2020. Made to pay court costs of £75.
JOSHUA BUNCE, 19, of Larkside Close, Spencers Wood, Reading, admitted destroying three doors worth £420 in Reading on October 11, 2021. Ordered to pay compensation of £300.
DANIEL ALLAN, 38, of Wensley Road, admitted two counts of sending threatening communications in Reading on August 24, 2020. Conditional discharge for 36 months. Made to pay £107 in court fees.
KEVIN WILSON, 44, of Grovelands Road, Reading, convicted of drink driving on Warnford Road, Tilehurst, and driving without insurance on December 29, 2019. Caught with 61 micrograms in 100 millilitres of alcohol, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Banned from driving for three years. Fined £250 and ordered to pay £134 in court fees.
