Drivers have been stuck in queues on the M4 for as much as three hours after an accident involving a lorry and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was it at 4.30am this morning between junctions J5 and J4B, leading police to close all lanes bound for London.
Queues stretched back five miles and Highways England estimated delays of 90 minutes, but some drivers reported being stuck in traffic for three hours.

“Richard has been stuck in it since 6.20am,” a Facebook user posted on the Slough Obsever’s page.
“It’s taken me over two hours to get from Windsor to Langley,” another account wrote on Facebook.
National Highways and Thames Valley Police are on the scen to manage the incident and traffic.
They do not expect to reopen the eastbound motorway until 12am at the earliest.
Drivers have been advised to take an alternative route.
