EMERGENCY services rushed to an open fire in Reading over the weekend.
Thames Valley Police blocked off Newhall Lane on Saturday, January 29, whilst firefighters tackled hte blaze in Mill Lane, Mapledurham.
Multiple sections of the road are cordoned off to stop people from accessing the road.
The fire started at 12.48pm and lasted for one hour and 50 minutes.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) crews from Caversham Road and Wokingham Road were sent to the scene alongside a specialist off-road vehicle from Bracknell Fire Station.
A spokesman from RBFRS said: "Upon arrival, crews discovered a large pile of wooden logs on fire. Using a hose reel jet, firefighters were able to contain the blaze before handing over to the landowner for a controlled burn until the fire was fully extinguish.
"Crews were on the scene for around an hour and 50 minutes."
