Storm Eunice has blown 'pigeon spikes' loose from the roof of Chas Ohlson in Broad Street.
Intrepid firefighters scaled a ladder among 60mph winds to remove any spikes still in danger of falling at 11.30am today.

The forecaster warned of flying debris endangering lives, roofs blown off and power lines brought down.
