POLICE are hunting for a man who was seen with a 'bag of blood' in the town centre.
Forensic officers carried out investigations in Broad Street, Reading on Tuedsay, Febraury 22, after blood was spotted on the floor at around 7am.
Blood was also seen in Duke Street and Jackson’s Corner at around 7am yesterday and the areas were cordoned off by police.
Tests are currently ongoing to find out where the blood has come from.

Police said 'there has been no suggestion of an injured person presenting at hospital or to the ambulance service.'
Investigating officer Detective Inspector James Jackson, of Reading CID, said: “At this stage, there remains no suggestion of an injured party, as all checks with South Central Ambulance Service and the local hospitals have not located an incident that would suggest any injury.
“As such, at this point, we do not believe the source of the blood is as a result of an assault, although we retain an open mind as to these unusual circumstances, and are carrying out a thorough investigation."

Police said: “As the male passes John Lewis at approximately 2.35am, he is seen to start emptying the liquid from the bag onto the ground.
“At this stage, we have had no reports that would link in with these circumstances, and so we would appeal to anybody who was in the vicinity between 2.15am and 2.45am and believe they witnessed this, or have dash-cam or CCTV images, to please contact 101, quoting reference number 43220080490.
“I would also appeal directly to the man seen in the images to contact the force, as I would be keen to speak to him.”
