Reading Festival has been named the 'Best Festival in the UK' at the prestigious NME Awards.
Having run since 1953, the music magazine's award night has been dubbed 'the mot raucous night in music.'
With more than 50 catergories, ranging from 'Villian of the Year' to 'Best New Act from Australia', the awards are one of the most wide ranging around.
Big winners on the night included Sam Fender, who won 'Best Album by a UK Artist' and Last Night in Soho winning 'Best Film'.
Alongside Reading and Leeds in the 'Best Festival in the UK' catergory were All Points East, Green Man, TRNSMT and Wireless.
Reading's biggest weekend on the calender won the award this year, taking the title off of 2020 winners Glastonbury.
They were also nominated for 'Best Festival in the World', but lost out to Las Vegas festival 'Life is Beautiful.'
