More than 300 people turned out on Friday, March 4 to take part in a Peace Vigil for Ukraine.
Organised by the Reading Ukrainian Community Centre, from 6pm until 7pm members of the public gathered outside Reading Town Hall to stand in solidarity with the people in Ukraine after the Russian invasion.
Among the large crowd included guest speakers such as Reading East MP Matt Rodda, Mayor of Reading, Rachel Eden and the Bishop of Reading Olivia Graham.
Large banners and flags were on display, as were tea-lights and candles as the Reading community came together in support for Ukraine.
Many that attended were given stickers with links on how to donate as many are wondering what they can do to help.
This comes not 48 hours after the Reading Ukrainian Community Centre were forced to stop taking donations after an overwhelming amount were received.
