AN ALERT to Berkshire residents has been sent out after NHS emergency services sees an increase in patients.
In a tweet, Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust said its A&E department was curently experiencing "high demand".
At 1.15pm today (March 7), the department had 150 patients with a new admission every three minutes.

The tweet said: "We want to ensure those who need life-saving treatment can get it.
"Please use NHS 111 to make sure you’re getting the most appropriate service for you."
