A 40-year-old woman was banned from the roads for two years and eight months for drink driving at almost four times the alcohol limit.
Victoria Martin was caught driving a BMW X5 in Yattendon Road, Frilsham, which is 11 minutes from Reading, after consuming enough alcohol to produce 137 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

This meant that Martin, of Langham Gardens, Whitchurch on Thames, was 3.9 times the legal limit of 35 microgrammes.
At Reading Magistrates court on February 23, she was ordered to undertake 200 hours unpaid work and pay £775 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

The judge ordered her to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £95.
From January 6, she was disqualified from driving for 32 months, which may be reduced by 32 weeks if she completes a driving course.
