THE READING Chronicle can exclusively reveal the name and face of the youngest man who killed Raheem Hanif.
Legal restrictions meant this paper could not name the 17-year-old throughout the course of the trial.
But thanks to an order from Her Honour Judge Norton, the restriction has now been lifted.
For the first time, the Chronicle can reveal the teen’s identity.

His name is Shekuh Conteh, formerly of Frilsham Road, and this is what he looks like.
The Reading man was just 16 when he climbed into Abas Khan’s car on February 6 and drove with Kamran Chowdhary and Humzah Sikander to try and find Raheem Hanif.
The quartet tailed Hanif and his father, Abdul, to Dulnan Close, near where the former lived.
As the Hanifs van stopped, Abas Khan boxed the father and son in and Chowdhary and Sikander ambushed them with a machete and a baseball knife.
Chowdhary plunged the blade into Raheem’s chest, fatally wounding him.
Sikander broke Abdul Hanif’s arm with his use of the baseball bat.

Conteh fled the scene as the altercation kicked-off and can be seen in CCTV footage running away.
Her Honour Judge Norton, sentencing Conteh, said the 17-year-old was influenced by others on the evening of Raheem’s death.
She accepted his part in the offence was less than the other three, but said he was still armed and involved in a group attack in which somebody died.
“'This was a group attack in which you played your part even if you did not stay for all of it”, the judge said.
Conteh was sentenced to four years in a youth detention centre for manslaughter and GBH without intent.

However, he will only serve half of this in custody.
And because Conteh has already been behind bars for just over a year, he will be released within the next 12 months.
