Gridlocked traffic is continuing to cause chaos this morning for drivers during rush hour, according to reports.
Cars are queuing on Saint Peters Hill and Church Street around Caversham Bridge.
There is slow-moving traffic on Richfield Avenue and the A4155.
It’s a nightmare to be honest. I live in Caversham Heights and it is taking approximately 45 mins to an hour to go drop off our son to the nursery near Forbury gardens. The whole of central Reading including the A33 and Kings road is blocked for most of the day.

The Reading Chronicle understands this to be the result of works to lay fibre cables.
