VISITORS at Royal Berkshire Hospital will be restricted to one per patient from today (March 29), due to a rise in Covid cases.
The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust has announced it will make some changes to its visitor policies in order to protect the patients and staff.
This comes after the hospital has seen an increase in Covid patients in recent weeks.
It will now be restricting visitors to one per patients and all visitors should book in advance with the ward clerk.

They also need to complete a Lateral Flow Test before visiting.
The hospital has also stated it has seen a record number of attendances to its emergency department.
And to help protect the patients, the department is encouraging people to visit A&E on their own where they can.
