SEVERE delays have been reported on train services between Paddington and Reading today due to a fatality on the tracks.
Trains between Paddington and Reading were delayed or cancelled and all lines were expected to be blocked until the end of the day (April 6).
Chiltern Railways, London Underground, South Western Railways and TFL Rail are accepting tickets via any reasonable route until further notice.
CrossCountry have announced that they will be accepting tickets between Reading and Oxford.

The latest update from Great Western Railway Service is that all lines have now been reopened but passengers are being warned that residual delays to services are still in place as it recors fromt he disruption.
Some services are able to begin running due to relief lines opening between Paddington and Reading.
Delays and cancellations however are still likely this evening.

Shortly before 7pm, a tweet from GWR said: "All [lines] have now reopened, but there will be residual delays as service recovers. Please check before travel."
