Reading FC have to wait just two months to discover their fixture list for the next season.
The EFL have confirmed that fixtures for the 2022/23 season will be released on Thursday, June 23.
Regardless of which division the Royals are in next season, 9am on June 23 is a date for your diary as the side will find out the order in which they will play their opponents.
Of course, these are subject to change throughout the season, due to television selections and other factors, but fixture release day is always an exciting time for supporters up and down the country.
With a winter World Cup in Qatar this year, the opening day of the season is a week earlier than usual, kicking off on Saturday, July 30.
The Championship pauses for World Cup group stage matches on November 12, while League One and League Two continue, and resumes again on December 10.
The final day of the 2022/23 season is expected to be Saturday, May 6.
Play-off finals, the showpiece events in the EFL calender, are expected to be staged on the weekend of May 27- May 29, with the Championship final on the Bank Holiday Monday.
