Former Reading FC midfielder Stephen Quinn has won the PFA Community Champion award for the work he is doing with local schools.
Now of League Two side Mansfield Town, the 36-year-old played 45 times in three injury-stricken years before departing to Burton Albion in 2018.
Quinn has played 34 times for the Nottinghamshire-based outfit this season as they look to win promotion to League One.
The PFA Community champion award is awarded every season to a player who has gone above and beyond to make a difference within their community.
A regular for Nigel Clough’s Stags, the former Sheffield United and Hull City star has been out and about as part of Mansfield Town Football in the Community’s Premier League Primary Stars.

The Award will hopefully raise awareness of the importance many of our members attach to their roles off the pitch and highlight their commitment to support those most in need during the pandemic. We would like to offer our congratulations to this season’s recipient of the 2021/22 PFA Community Champion Award.”
