A TESLA driver has been orderd to pay more than £1,000 for driving his electric vehicle without insurance.
Robert Walton, 65, of Reading Road, West Berkshire, was fined £1,000 and ordered to pay costs of £90 for the offence in Theale.
The resident was caught driving without third party insurance Contrary to section 143 of the Road Traffic Act 1988.

Walton was caught driving on the Theale A4 bypass on August 17, 2021.
The Tesla driver pleaded guilty on March 31 at a hearing at Wycombe Magistrates' Court.
As well as having to pay fines and costs, his driving licence was also endorsed with six points.
