Reading is known for being the go-to town when it comes to a night out in Berkshire.

You can always guarantee a good night in one of the town's many nightclubs, whether it be a girls night out in Popworld or jump around to some old school favourites in Purple Turtle.

But those who have been on the scene a little longer shared memories of clubs of old that would always guarantee a good time.

Sadly these nightclubs no longer exist.
