A Reading man has been jailed after police found 28g of class A drugs in his house in Tilehurst.
On March 5 at 5am officers executed a warrant at his house on Dee Road in Tilehurst and located quantities of crack cocaine and heroin.
Ryan Kinuthia, 20, admitted to two counts of possession with the intent to supply of class A drugs, two counts of concerned in the supply of class A drugs and one count of possession of criminal property.
He was sentenced to five years and seven-month imprisonment at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday, April 26.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Jon Nicholls, of the Stronghold team, based at Reading police station, said: “We will never tolerate drug-dealing in our communities, and I hope this conviction and sentence sends a clear message to anybody involved in this criminal activity in Reading that we will robustly target you and bring you to justice.
“County lines drug dealers target the most vulnerable in our society and we remain absolutely resolute in our determination to remove them, and their drugs, from our communities and protect victims.
“Tackling county lines drug-dealing continues to need the support of the public.
