Shoppers were out in mass today to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Broad Street Mall in Reading.
Between 11am and 2pm, the shopping centre hosted activities such as free face painting, balloon modelling and crafting workshops for all ages.
Their Mascot Topsy made an appearance to celebrate the special day and hand out treats and birthday cupcakes.

The mall opened in Reading in 1972 and through the years it has seen many changes both inside and out.
The Sue Ryder charity also joined the team at Broad Street Mall today. To celebrate the anniversary, they were selling pins and running a raffle which will help raise money for the charity.
