Hundreds of people across the UK reported seeing the space rock on Monday night, including Adam Stowell, who filmed this video near Buzz Gym in King’s Road.
Reading-based photographer Leslee barron said on Twitter: "I saw it. Had my camera in my hand but it was too quick. It was the biggest, most colourful meteor I’ve ever seen."

The UK Meteor Observation Network said they had received dozens of reports after the sightings, at around 9.45pm on May 16, but that they only caught one photo of it on their network of cameras.
NASA says a meteoroid is a "space rock" that enters the Earth's atmosphere at high speed and burns up.
When meteoroids survive the trip through the atmosphere and hit the ground, then it is called a meteorite.
