The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Courts:
May 9
DARRELL WEBB, 33, Camlford Close, failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a suspended order by failing to attend a supervision appointment in February 2022. Ordered to pay costs of £75.
ANDREI BUDEANU, 27, Doddsfield Road, Slough, failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work appointments in December 2021 and January 2022. Sentenced to prison for 13 weeks
ION BUDEANU, 26, of High Street, Slough, failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work appointments in December 2021 and January 2022. Fined £250 and made to pay £60 in costs.
MUNSIF JAVED, 65, of Hampden Road, failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work appointments in January 2022. Fined £250 and made to pay costs of £60.
May 10
SHAKIL NIZAMI, 24, of Pigeons Farm Road, Greenham, Thatcham, convicted of driving without insurance, on Pigeons Farm Road, Thatcham, on September 29, 2021. Fined £660 and made to pay £680 in court fees.
MICHAEL ILES, 53, of Blossom Avenue, Theale, convicted of participating in a gathering of more than two people during a period of lockdown on January 19, 2021. Fined £180 and made to pay £200 in court fees.
May 11
THOMAS FINNEY, 28, of Beechwood Close, Goring Heath, convicted of being drunk and disorderly and sexual assault at Twyford train station on June 8, 2021. Community order made. Requirement to take part in up to 45 days of rehabilitation activities. Must pay £870 in court fees.
RYAN MURPHY, 20, of Mount Road, Thatcham, admitted to assault by beating in Kintbury on July 4, 2020. Community order made. Must take part in up to 30 days of rehabilitation activities. Fined £54 and made to pay £95 in court fees.
GHAFOOR YOUNIS, 35, of Grenfell Road, Maidenhead, admitted to failing to stop after a road accident, driving without due care and attention, and drink driving, on A4 London Road, Slough, on June 16, 2019. Caught with 81 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Committed to prison for ten weeks. Made to pay a victim surcharge of £128. Banned from driving for three years.
MAHDI RIZA, 32, of Tamarisk Way, Cippenham, Slough, admitted failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Berkshire Magistrates’ Court on May 9, 2022. Fined £100.
