Well done Reading, we did it.
We got through coronavirus restrictions, we got through a cold and drab spring and now summer is finally here.

And to celebrate, there’s lots for residents to enjoy on the Oracle Riverside over the coming months.
Here’s a rundown of the new additions in one of the busier parts of town.
Aperol Spritz pop-up bar
All Bar One has teamed up with Aperol Spritz to set up a pop-up terrace on the Riverside.
The orange-themed seating area opened on May 16 and is directly down the steps from All Bar One, next to Comptoir Libanais.
It sits on the astroturf verge overlooking the river and contains umbrellas and deck chairs to complete the lazy-summer vibe.
Diners can download the All Bar One to order their drinks direct to their tables.

The terrace is open until September 4.
Summer of Sport TV screen
The new Aperol terrace provides the perfect location from which to watch a summer of sport.
Initiated by The Oracle, the big screen returns for another year of live action from June 6.
Events set to be shown include:
- Women’s tour of Britain
- Queen’s Club tennis tournament
- Royal Ascot
- Eastbourne Tennis
- Wimbledon
- Women’s Euro football championships
- Commonwealth games
Mojito Beach Club Bar
Alternatively, you can catch all the sport from The Oracle’s very own mojito bar opposite Nando’s and Pizza Hut.
Like with the big screen, the bar returns to the Riverside for another summer in the sunshine.
This year, however, it’s bigger and better.
A top deck provides more seating from an elevated position over the river, with more benches and booths the side of the bar.
Guests can reserve the beach booths to ensure they get a seat and enjoy the cocktails from 10am to 10pm daily.
VIP packages are also on offer with three options for customers.

The cheapest option costs £42.00 and includes a reserved beach booth with four cocktails.
Option two costs £74 and includes eight drinks or prosecco.
And the most expensive option, coming in at £90, gives guests a VIP rooftop experience which includes a bottle of Moet.
Having opened on May 14, the bar will be open all summer until September 4.
