Recently-relegated to League Two, the Dons moved into their new stadium in 2020 and it will be the first time the sides have met at the new Plough Lane.

The game will take place on Tuesday, July 19 to kick-off at 19.45, 10 days before the start of the 2022/23 Championship campaign.
The Dons, managed by new Head of Football Operations Mark Bowen last season, are also set to host Ipswich Town and Oxford United at their new home ahead of their first season in the fourth tier for five years.
Having met twice in pre-season over the last decade, with a win apiece, it was 20 years since the last competitive meeting between the Royals and Wimbledon on Boxing Day 2003.
Supporters are expected to be allowed to attend, with ticket details to be released in due course.
