Reading Buses has axed one of its services due to low use and a council subsidy drying up.
The bus company has removed its number 400 service, which ran as a park and ride from Thames Valley Park in Earley to Reading town centre.
The 400 route will officially end on Saturday, June 18.
Explaining the decision, the Reading Buses website states: “The Thames Valley Park & Ride 400 service is going to stop running after the end of service on Saturday, June 18.
“This is partly due to very low usage, and partly due to funding from Wokingham Borough Council coming to an end which has helped to cover the running costs.
“We appreciate that this will be unwelcome news to the small number of customers who have been using this park & ride service recently.”

Meanwhile, Reading Buses is unable to resume the park and ride service at Winnersh Triangle due to redevelopment of its car park.
The route 500, which ran from Winnersh Triangle to the town centre was halted in November 2021 for the redevelopment, with the project not expected to be completed until 2023.
The service may resume earlier than that if it can be operated safely while work progresses.
