Former Reading Academy star Tennai Watson has been linked with a Championship return, according to reports.
The 25-year-old progressed through the ranks at Hogwood to make nine appearances in five first team seasons with the club between 2016 and 2021.
He was sent on loan to AFC Wimbledon and Coventry City between 2018 and 2020, eventually being released by the Royals at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
As a free agent he signed for MK Dons and played 32 times as Liam Manning's side lost in the play-off semi-finals, to fellow former Royals Jordan Obita and Garath McCleary's Wycombe Wanderers, but now is linked with a return to the second tier.
Football League World report that Bristol City, Swansea City and Preston North End are all keeping tabs on the defender- despite the Buckinghamshire-based exercising an option in his contract to keep him at the club for next season.
