Reading are to round off their pre-season training with a match against Premier League Brighton and Hove Albion the weekend before the Championship season gets underway.
Graham Potter's Seagulls finished ninth in the top-flight last season, just five points outside a European finish.

Premier League regulars since 2017, the Royals last played the south-coast outfit in February 2017, a 3-0 win for Chris Hughton's side at the AMEX as they finished runner-up in the Championship and Jaap Stam's Reading were third.
This game, at the Select Car Leasing Stadium on July 23, rounds off a busy July in which Paul Ince's men face Benfica, Maidenhead United, West Ham and Wimbledon.
The club also announced another behind-closed doors warm up match against Colchester United on July 2, the pre-season curtain raiser.
Ticket details for the Brighton test are to be announced in due course.
