This is the moment a huge 4,500-piece domino tumble came to an end.
Hundreds of Newbury and West Berkshire residents turned out to watch the large white concrete blocks fall down following a special event on Saturday, June 25, organised by the Corn Exchange and 101 Outdoor Arts.
Propped up by an army of 150 volunteers, the dominos meandered through a 1-kilometre stretch in Newbury town centre across roads, pavements, steps, bridges, waterways and parks.
After the first domino fell at 3pm, their final destination was Victoria Park, where a stunning, weaving structure - made up of dominos - was toppled over in front of a huge crowd.
In total, it took around 20 minutes for all 4,500 dominos to fall.
The event was held to mark the Greenham Trust’s 25th anniversary and money raised will go to supporting young people aged between 11 and 25 in the local area.
Well done to @CornExchange for their successful 'Dominoes' event in Newbury this afternoon. We caught some pictures of the big tumble- why not share yours, too? #greatplacetolive pic.twitter.com/VRcsyEoKMs

Residents hailed the event - also organised with help from Station House Opera - on social media.
One said: “This was such a fun event, thank you to everyone involved in running it. We walked the domino route with our children before waiting at the park to watch them climb the steps at the end - the imagination and time spent in setting it all up was impressive.
Amazing day helping to send 4,500 dominoes through the centre of Newbury. Our great team placed them through the lovely Salvation Army Hall #dominoesnewbury @CornExchange @101OutdoorArts pic.twitter.com/H05Oaf78bn

“What a cool thing to have happening in Newbury, and what lovely volunteers there were, all who gave us a smile or chatted to us or helped us know where the trail went next. We really enjoyed our time in town yesterday.”
Big thanks to @101OutdoorArts and @CornExchange for a great event. #dominoesnewbury pic.twitter.com/RwYRPz0B2R
