Former Reading defender Andre Burley has signed for non-league side Oxford City.
22-year-old Burley, who played three times for the Royals after breaking through the Academy, was released in 2020 and joined Wycombe Wanderers.
Playing four times for the Chairboys, and spending periods on loan with Maidenhead United and Hungerford Town, he departed this summer and has now joined National League South outfit Oxford City.
The Saint Kitts and Nevis international, born and rasied in nearby Slough, said upon arriving: "I’m really excited to join a club like Oxford City.

“I spoke to my agent and Ross [Jenkins] and this is a great opportunity for me to get back to playing regular football and enjoying football again.
“Last year I was on loan at Hungerford and played against Oxford City and I noticed that they moved the ball around nicely. So when my agent told me that Oxford were interested I said I’d love to come here and play and show what I’m about.”
The Hoops manager, Ross Jenkins, added: "Andre has great pedigree and has come from a very good club in Wycombe.
“I’ve watched a lot of him and now was the right time to approach him. We’ll be good for his development and he’ll develop us with the way we play. He has some great attributes.”
