A BARGAIN retailer has flung open its doors to customers in Calcot today (July 1).

B&M has officially opened on the Bath Road, at Calcot retail park.

The store offers multiple deals on home and furniture, toys and games, cleaning produtcs and much more.

B&M already has a shop in Reading Retail Park which opened back in 2013, and another outlet at Brunel Retail Park across town.

This new shop is located near to Sainsbury's, Sports Direct, Clarks and Boots.

Our reporter Nicole McBride went down to look around the store yesterday (June 30) ahead of today's opening.

She walked down all the aisles to see what the shop has to offer.

Store manager John Grouse said: "With the variety of products that we sell there is no estimating how long the queue will be."

Kevin Mitchell, the regional manager for B&M, added: “We’re all so excited about the store opening, it looks fantastic.

“I can’t wait to show everyone the value brands this side of Reading.”
