Reading’s oldest record shop is celebrating its their annual Vintage Vinyl Weekend.
The owners of The Sound Machine, in Harris Arcade, spent the last year trawling up and down the country to bring Reading the most elusive second-hand records available.
They promise rare gems from genres including rock, punk, indie, reggae, jazz, blues, hip-hop and funk.
Store Manager Steve said: “We specialise in quality second-hand records - which a lot of collectors believe sound better than newer pressings.

“This market is something that gets completely overlooked when Record Store Day rolls around. So we created Vintage Vinyl Weekend to cater for collectors, old and young, who want a real slice of authentic music history to add to their collection.

“This weekend promises a huge selection of premium stock at fair prices.”
This year's Vintage Vinyl Weekend takes place today (Saturday, June 2) and tomorrow.
