1. Clas Ohlson Reading: Homeware store to close down
Reading’s Clas Ohlson store is set to close down.
The Broad Street shop has launched a 30 per cent off sale to get rid of its stock before its late-summer closure.
A store employee confirmed the retailer would be leaving Reading at the end of August.
The closure marks the end of the homeware and hardware brand’s presence on the UK high street.

2. Love Island: Charlie Radnedge's education, university, and job
IF you’ve been keeping up with Love Island this year, you’ll know the show is now in full swing.
We’ve seen tears, tantrums, dates, secret kisses, shock evictions from the villa and much more in Mallorca as the ITV 2 reality show gets into full flow.

3. LOOK INSIDE: New Reading B&M store ahead of opening
The arrival of the new B&M in Calcot has caused a lot of buzz throughout Reading over the last couple of weeks.
After three months of planning and two weeks of readying the store and it's employees, it will all go down from 9am tomorrow.
Our reporter, Nicole McBride was given the opportunity to drop down for a sneak peak less than 24 hours before the doors open.

4. Taylor Wimpey development in Wokingham to go ahead despite objections
A controversial new housing development in Wokingham is to go ahead, despite a wave of objections from local residents.
Taylor Wimpey, a construction company based in West London, have received planning approval for the scheme, named The Rowcrofts, which will see 43 homes built off Princess Marina Drive in Arborfield.
The plan, which forms part of the existing Arborfield Green development, was given the green light by the council on June 10 following a unanimous decision by the commitee.

5. B&M announces big store opening in Reading this Friday
A leading UK superstore has announced the opening of it's brand new store in Reading this weekend.
The new B&M in Calcot, Reading is set to open it’s doors for the first time at 9am on Friday, July 1.
This will create 70 new jobs for people throughout the local area.
The store manager commented: “Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day; we can’t wait to get the doors open next week and show customers their brand new B&M store.”
