Reading Academy graduate Jem Karacan is one of two former Royals to move in the opening days of July.
Turkey youth international Karacan played almost 150 times in more than a decade at the club, a key member of squads which won promotion to the Premier League and reached the FA Cup semi final in 2012 and 2014 respectively.
Playing for the likes of Bolton Wanderers and Scunthorpe United since leaving Berkshire in 2015, he has now joined Northern Premier League outfit Radcliffe FC.
Still only 33, he impressed many at the Reading legends match in May, even managing to bag an impressive goal.

Fellow Academy graduate Akin Odimayo has joined Northampton Town in League Two.
The 22-year-old made his one and only Royals appearance in 2019, playing for the likes of Hungerford Town on loan before joining Swindon Town in 2020.
65 games for the Robins convinced the Cobblers to agree a deal, arriving at Sixfields on a two year contract.
