Former Sunderland and Crystal Palace striker Connor Wickham is on trial with the Royals, according to reports.
The 29-year-old former Reading Academy striker was released by MK Dons over the summer and was pictured playing in a 2-0 win over Colchester United on Saturday- an image which has reportedly since been deleted.

According to Chronicle Live, an outlet in the North-East covering Sunderland, "former Sunderland striker Connor Whickham looks set to join Championship side Reading following his release from MK Dons at the end of last season."
Plagued by injury across his career, he scored 11 in 74 appearances on Wearside for the Black Cats, as well as going on three loan spells, before joining the Eagles in 2015.
He scored one in 15 for MK during the second half of last season but was released after their League One play-off semi final defeat.
Director of Football Operations, Mark Bowen, confirmed last week that the striking department was one which they were looking at improving- however former fan favourite Shane Long and Watford striker Andre Gray were the only names mentioned.

Reports claim that Gray has agreed to join Greek side Aris Thessaloniki, potentially leaving Paul Ince to look elsewhere.
