Former Reading striker Nathan Tyson has joined Northern Premier League Division One East side Grantham Town.
The Royals Academy graduate played almost 40 times for the club at the turn of the Millennium.

Going on to play for 14 clubs, including the likes of Nottingham Forest, Derby County and Wycombe Wanderers, he was most recently with National League side Chesterfield from 2020 to 2022.
Now 40, he has extended his playing career deeper into the non-league pyramid, joining fellow former Academy graduate Jem Karacan in the bottom two steps of the English game.

Last season the Gingerbreads were relegated from the Northern Premier League Premier Division, just four years after finishing in the play-offs.
