Hibernian and Motherwell look set to battle Portsmouth for the signature of former Reading defender Terell Thomas, reports suggest.
The 26-year-old played two matches last season after impressing on trial, but was released at the end of the season.

Currently with Pompey on trial, the St Lucia international has played in their last two friendlies.
However, according to a report from HampshireLive, the former FA Cup winners face competition from the two Scottish Premiership outfits for his services.
Thomas, formerly of the likes of Wigan Athletic and Charlton Athletic, has spent the majority of his career in tiers three and four of the English pyramid, his only Championship minutes coming for the Royals at the end of last season.
Hibs of Edinburgh finished eighth in the Scottish Premiership last season, but Motherwell managed to sit as high as fifth and have qualified for the second qualification stage for the UEFA Conference League.
