Power has been lost in Norcot, Reading during the hottest day of the year.
The unplanned outtage began at 9.15am and impacted 10 postcode areas near the Oxford Road Recreation Ground.
Residents in the areas in and between Bramshaw Road, Lyndhurst Road, Ringwood Road and Romsey Road are without electricity, meaning fans, air conditioning, fridges and freezers will be inoperable as the temperature climbs.

A Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) engineer is on site aiming to restore the power by 12.30pm, at which time temperatures will reach between 35C and 36C.
The SSEN website states: "We're sorry for the loss of supply. We currently have a fault affecting the areas."
