A DELIVERY driver was stopped in Reading for driving in an 'unsafe' way.
Thames Valley Police stopped the DPD van on Thursday, July 21, in Reading after noticing the driver wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
Police officers carried out checks on the vehicle and also noticed that both of the front tyres were extremely worn out.

The two front tyres were 'illegal' and in an 'unsafe condition', police said.
The legal tyre tread depth for cars in the UK and Europe is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre, according to law.
The tread must meet this minimum requirement across its complete circumference.

However the image above shows the tyres barely have any tread depth making them unsafe to drive on.
Police said: "The vehicle was taken off the road until necessary repairs carried out, and the driver reported for both offences."
